"In The Zone"

As I put in an earlier post....Ryan is OBSESSED with John Deere Tractors. In fact as I type he is watching this movie and eating John Deere snacks...yes, there is such a thing! He usually runs to the playroom and collects all their toy John Deere Tractors and lays them all out on the ottoman...from biggest to smallest.....and begs to watch the movie. When he is watching he is "in the zone." This works magic when I am prepping dinner....I know he won't move and come in the kitchen near the hot oven or stove. It's funny because he has learned the words to the song as well. So...when he is not watching John Deere...he is singing the songs! When we put him to bed you can hear "John Deere...Oh John Deere." It's the funniest thing! First words out of his mouth in the morning is John Deere. I'm thinking we need to visit our local tractor store so he can "ride" them!

Ryan the Entertainer

There is no question that Ryan is ALL BOY!!!!!!!!! He LOVES balls, bats, dirt, John Deere tractors, and the list goes on. Ryan also LOVES to be the center of attention...and will do anything to get you to notice and laugh. This pictures was taken on the last night that Matt's parents were in from NY and my parents and brother were here as well. Ryan was insistent on wearing sunglasses. He thought it was so funny to take them off and walk around to a different person, try the glasses on them, and then put them back on. This went on for about 30 minutes. Then......he grabbed Madeline's baton and found an indoor soft soccer ball. Well.....he decides to play golf in the house. The more we laughed the longer he did it. He also loved it when we clapped for him! I can see his Senior yearbook now....."voted class clown....Ryan Blake Street." For now....we will just enjoy the gift of laughter that he brings.

Sweet Moments

As you can see from the picture....Ryan was not feeling well this day. His allergies have been terrible the past few weeks. He was fussy all day so I put a movie on for him to try and settle him. Madeline took it upon herself to sit and snuggle with him. Kollman joined them, too. It worked...the three of them snuggled each other and calmed Ryan down. He was so calm and relaxed he took a nap. Madeline and Kollman stayed with him the whole time. It's so sweet to see how much they really do love each other. Madeline, you are going to make a good Mommy one day because you are so sensitive and loving. Kollman, you will make a great daddy someday, too!!! I hope and pray that you three will always love and respect each other. I'm saving all these pictures to remind you!!!!

Fun at the Park

Matt's parents flew in this past Saturday from Syracuse, NY. They have been such a huge help this week with the little ones! I have been able to get some things done that is hard to do with little ones around to "help!" Today we packed up and headed to the park. The kids had so much fun with their grandparents. It was nice to sit back and watch them interact and hear their laughter. Kollman made a few friends along the way! I was able to get a lot of great pictures of all 3 kids which it rare! Many lasting memories were made today....and we look forward to many, many more! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for loving us as much as you do!

Kollman and his new bike

Three Generations of Golfers

This morning Matt, his Dad, and Kollman packed up at 8AM and headed to the course. Matt and his father both share a passion for golf. Now....Kollman is showing interest. Matt started about Kollman's age....4. Can't wait to hear the stories when they get home! Thank you Matt for sharing your passion with Kollman and for having the patience to teach him. You are a great father...and creating memories with him that will last a lifetime.
